Lilah is One Month Old

I cannot believe our little girl is already a month old today! She sleeps constantly, nurses really well and is so far the easiest baby ever. We had a couple hurdles the first week but once those were addressed everything has been wonderful. At our midwife appointment on Wednesday she weighed 9lbs 8oz! We go to her pediatrician this Monday and will find out her official stats, but so far she has gained nearly a pound since her last visit.

Through tiny people's tantrums, quotidian duties, marriage, grief, and way too much Netflix, there is Beauty with a big B. It's fragrant, it's healing, it's distinct. This is how I gather bouquets of thorny, wild Light - still covered in dirt and probably a few stinging bugs. It's a bit messy here, but I'm honored to have you and I hope you find some of the Good Stuff.
