Lilah is 4 Months Old!

16 Jun

{This picture was taken on Saturday, exactly at 4 months, dressed by daddy}

Lilah is 4 months old, already. I know, I know… I say that with every “Our Growing Girl” post. But it is astonishing to me how quickly she is growing. She actually turned 4 months old on Saturday but today was her doctor appointment. I wanted to have her stats for this post so I had to wait.

Today Lilah weighed 16 lbs { 83%} and was 24.5in tall {50%}.

I wrote about Lilah rolling over at the doctor’s on her 2 month visit on facebook, but it must have been a fluke. She has recently rolled over a few more times but it  always  seems almost accidental. She is fully capable of completing the task but I don’t think she realizes her ability and therefore, screams bloody murder for one of us to turn her over instead of rolling on her own.  Her tummy times are going very well though, despite the not rolling over. She is super strong and nearly every person who holds her comments, “wow, she is really solid!” For looking like a round little butterball she is mostly muscle. 🙂

These days are wonderful and it is so hard to remember life without our precious Lilah. She is such a giggly, joyful, sweet girl.
